Private lessons

Here at Pro 36 we know life continues after you finish a program with us. Maybe you’re moving, getting a new dog, having a new baby, or your dog simply picks up a new habit you can’t break on your own.

After graduating from one of our board and train programs, you are entitled to one complimentary follow-up private lesson. After that, additional lessons are available at $40 per session for up to a full year after graduation — at our facility or at your home.

Available to graduates of any Pro 36 board and train program.

We will walk you through exactly how and why we use this tool during your consultation and throughout training. Our goal with any correction tool is always to use the minimum amount of pressure needed to communicate clearly with your dog.

Our approach

Balanced training — what that means

We use the latest scientific findings to ensure success. That means we use all four quadrants of operant conditioning to communicate clearly and consistently with your dog.

Positive reinforcement first

We use positive reinforcement to teach the expectation. Your dog not only learns what to do — they learn to enjoy doing it. Dogs love to learn and thrive on being successful.

Corrections only when necessary

Once a dog understands the expectation, a well-timed correction communicates that the behavior is now required, not just rewarded. Our aim is always the minimum effective correction.

Every dog is unique

We recognize every dog and owner team to be unique. Our training strategy looks different from client to client because the training needed is different. We deliver results tailored to each individual case.
