A rare program where your dog lives with us
Pro 36 offers a board and train experience where your dog actually lives in our home with our family. This gives us the time to build a genuine relationship with your dog and observe their behavior as often as possible — maximizing the impact of every training session.
From first contact to graduation
Schedule your consultation
The consultation takes about 90 minutes. This is your opportunity to speak with Justin directly, share your goals, and get a full recommendation on what program might work best for you and your dog.
There is a $30 consultation fee, which is applied toward the cost of whichever program you choose to enroll in.
Check-ins and check-outs are generally done on weekends to accommodate your schedule.
Your dog moves into our home
Once enrolled, your dog checks in and becomes part of our family for the duration of the program. They are not kept in a kennel facility — they live with us, sleep in our home, and are observed constantly.
This environment allows us to build a real relationship with your dog and address behavior as it naturally occurs, not just during scheduled training sessions. It is one of the most significant advantages of the Pro 36 program.
Training and weekly updates
Justin uses a balanced approach to training — leveraging the power of positive reinforcement with corrections only when necessary. Your dog is set up to succeed from day one.
Throughout the program you will receive regular weekly updates on your dog’s progress so you are never left wondering how things are going.
For the Advanced program, you will also be invited in for a private lesson at the midpoint (week 3) so you can learn alongside your dog as training builds.
Graduate together at your home
All board and train programs include a private graduation lesson at your residence. Justin comes to you so your whole family can learn how to best interact with your dog in the environment where they actually live.
This is the most impactful step for long-term success. Dogs take mental snapshots of how to behave in specific situations — practicing in your home ensures the training carries over where it matters most.
Follow-up lessons for up to a year
All board and train programs include one complimentary follow-up private lesson after graduation. Additional lessons are available at $40 per session for up to one year after completing your program. Life changes — new routines, new family members, new environments — and sometimes your dog needs a reset.
There are no guarantees in dog training, and frankly neither can any other trainer make that claim. What we can promise is that we are committed to helping you build a lasting, positive relationship with your dog. If something changes down the road, we encourage you to reach out.
After a year, we are still happy to see you at a rate of $40 per private lesson.
What to bring
Here is everything we will need from you at check-in to get started.
Shot records
We require up-to-date vaccination records for your dog before they can check in.
Completed questionnaire
We will send you a questionnaire after your consultation to gather key details about your dog’s behavior, history, and any specific concerns.
Food and allergy info
Please bring enough food for the full duration of your dog’s stay, along with a list of any dietary allergies. We use a lot of treats in training and want to make sure everything is safe.
50% deposit
A 50% deposit of the total program fee is required before check-in.
No neutering required
Your dog does not need to be spayed or neutered. We will ask in the consultation whether your dog is intact so we can plan training and socialization appropriately. We actually recommend waiting until at least 8 months before altering, as early spay/neuter can hinder critical hormonal development.
Ready to schedule?
All programs begin with a consultation. Pick a time and we will take it from there.
